Effect of Ginkgo Diterpene Lactone Meglumine Combined with Routine Therapy on Oxidative Stress Indexes and Neurological Function in Patients with Ischemic Stroke
Abstract: Objective: To observe the effect of ginkgo diterpene lactone meglumine combined with routine therapy on oxidative stress indexes and neurological function in patients with ischemic stroke. Methods:A total of 194 cases of patients with acute ischemic stroke were selected as the study subjects, and divided into the control group and the observation group according to their different medication regimens, with 93 and 101 cases in each group respectively. Both groups were given routine symptomatic treatment, and the observation group was additionally given intravenous infusion with ginkgo diterpene lactone meglumine injection. Both groups were treated for one course, with two weeks being one course. The clinical effects in the two groups were observed. The changes in neurologic impairment of National Institute of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS) scores, oxidized low- density lipoprotein(ox- LDL) contents in serum,8- Iso prostaglandin F2α(8- iso- PG F2α) contents in serum, mean velocity(Vm),resistance index(RI) and pulsatility index(PI) before and after treatment in the two groups were compared. Results:After treatment, the total effective rate was 98.02% in the observation group and 91.40% in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). After treatment, the NIHSS scores in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment, and the NIHSS score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, differences being significant(P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of ox-LDL and 8-iso-PG F2α in serum in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment, and the above two levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, differences being significant(P<0.05). After treatment, the values of Vm in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05), and the values of RI and PI in the two groups were decreased(P<0.05); the value of Vm in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P< 0.05), and the values of RI and PI were lower(P<0.05). Conclusion: Ginkgo diterpene lactone meglumine combined with routine therapy has a better curative effect in treating ischemic stroke, which can effectively reduce oxidative stress levels in blood, improve neurological function and cerebral hemodynamics, and promote rehabilitation.
