Abstract： With the gradual increase of incidence rate of hyperuricemia in recent years， the complications of gout and kidney damage are more and more harmful to patients. In the past， traditional Chinese medicine believed that the disease belongs to the syndrome of deficiency and excess. The key to the disease is the dysfunction of spleen and kidney viscera，the disorder of water and fluid metabolism，and the accumulation of evil of water and dampness. Through literature analysis，it is found that phlegm dampness is an important factor in the occurrence and development of hyperuricemia. In addition to the imbalance of spleen and kidney，the dysfunction of lung and Sanjiao is an important link in the occurrence of hyperuricemia. The treatment should be combined with attack and tonic， the lung， spleen and kidney should be in harmony， and the propaganda，transformation，infiltration and drainage should be carried out at the same time.
