Abstract: Objective: To observe the effect of Xingnaojing injection on neurological function and anti- inflammation in patients with acute hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage. Methods: A total of 80 cases of patients with acute hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage were selected as the study subjects, and divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method,with 40 cases in each group. The control group was given routine treatment including controlling blood pressure, preventing infection and dehydrating, and the observation group was additionally treated with Xingnaojing injection based on the routine treatment. Before treatment and after 1, 5, 10 and 14 days of treatment,the scores of National Institute of Health Stroke Scale in the two groups were observed and compared. Before and after treatment,the changes in levels of plasma fibrinogen(Fib),neuron-specific enolase(NSE),matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP) and procalcitonin(PCT) in the two groups were compared. Results:Before treatment and after one-day treatment,there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of the scores of National Institute of Health Stroke Scale between the two groups(P>0.05). After 5, 10 and 14 days of treatment, the scores of National Institute of Health Stroke Scale in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group,the difference being significant(P<0.05). Before treatment,there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of the biochemical function indexes including Fib, NSE and MMP- 9 between the two groups(P>0.05). After treatment, the Fib levels in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment,and the levels of NSE and MMP-9 were decreased(P<0.05),and the improvement of the indexes in the observation group was more significant than that in the control group(P<0.05). Before treatment, there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of the inflammatory factors including TNF-α,hs-CRP and PCT between the two groups(P>0.05). After treatment,the levels of TNF-α,hs-CRP and PCT in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion: Xingnaojing injection has a significant curative effect in treating acute hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage,and can play a therapeutic role by increasing the content of Fib in serum and inhibiting the production of NSE and MMP- 9, so as to improve the neurological function of patients, and at the same time avoid the aggravation of the disease by inhibiting the inflammatory reactions.
