Abstract：This paper introduces the clinical experience of Professor XU Fu in the treatment of peripheral facial paralysis. Regarding the prognosis of facial paralysis， Professor XU Fu proposes that facial paralysis complicated with cervical spondylosis is an important factor leading to the occurrence of refractory facial paralysis. The treatment is based on different stages. In acute stage， the application of abdominal acupuncture should be paid attention to. In convalescence stage， targeted point selection should be performed based on the extracranial branch of facial nerve， which is accurate and effective； the point selection on the healthy side of facial paralysis and the combined use of multiple methods should be attached importance to. In sequelae stage，moxibustion should be emphasized in symptom differentiation and treatment.
