Abstract： This paper introduces Professor ZHANG Dongyue's experience in the treatment of incomplete intestinal obstruction. Professor ZHANG Dongyue believes that the pathogenesis of incomplete intestinal obstruction is qi movement obstruction and heat bind in the intestinal bowel，and takes "intestinal collateral stasis" as the core of the pathogenesis. Based on Tiaowei Chengqi tang， by adopting methods of moving qi and relieving depression， draining heat and softening hardness，and invigorating blood and dissolving stasis，he creates an empirical prescription called Changjietong prescription， which is applied as a basis for syndrome differentiation to determine disease cause and combines with disease differentiation and syndrome differentiation，to treat incomplete intestinal obstruction.
