Abstract：Objective： To observe the clinical effect of Shenmai injection combined with western medicine for coronary heart disease complicated with chronic heart failure(CHF) with dual deficiency of qi and yin syndrome. Methods： A total of 82 cases of patients with coronary heart disease complicated with CHF with dual deficiency of qi and yin syndrome were divided into the treatment group and the control group according to different treatment methods， with 42 and 40 cases in each group respectively. The control group was given western medicine treatment，and the treatment group was treated with Shenmai injection combined with western medicine. Both groups were treated for 14 days. The clinical effects in the two groups were compared. Before and after treatment， Chinese medicine syndrome scores， heart function indexes and the levels of serum high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP) and N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide(NT-proBNP) in the two groups were compared. Results：The total effective rate was 92.86% in the treatment group，higher than that of 75.00% in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment， Chinese medicine syndrome scores in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment， and the score in treatment group was lower than that in the control group， differences being significant(P＜0.05). Stroke volume(SV)， cardiac output(CO) and left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF) in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment， and SV， CO and LVEF in treatment group were higher than those in the control group，differences being significant(P＜0.05). The levels of hs- CRP and NT-proBNP in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment，and the levels of hs-CRP and NT- proBNP in treatment group were lower than those in the control group， differences being significant(P＜0.05). Conclusion： Shenmai injection combined with western medicine has a definite curative effect in treating coronary heart disease combined with CHF with dual deficiency of qi and yin syndrome，which can effectively relieve the clinical symptoms of patients，reduce myocardial injury and relieve systemic inflammatory response.
