Abstract: Objective: To observe the clinical effect of the therapy of modified Tongluo tang combined with western medicine on acute cerebral hemorrhage. Methods:A total of 90 patients with acute cerebral hemorrhage were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method, with 45 cases in each group. The control group was treated with western medicine, and the observation group was additionally treated with modified Tongluo tang based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for two weeks. The improvement of the indexes of hemorheology, vascular endothelial cell function and neurological function in the two groups were observed. Results: After treatment, the levels of low-shear,middle-shear and high-shear whole blood viscosity, red cell aggregation index, hematocrit, platelet aggregation rate(PAG), baseline platelet count(BPC) and fibrinogen(FIB) in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the above levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of endothelin-1(ET-1),neuron-specific enolase(NSE), serum ferritin(SF) and transferrin(TF) and the scores of National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS) in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the above levels and scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05);the levels of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) and nitric oxide(NO) in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the above levels in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion: The therapy of modified Tongluo tang combined with western medicine for acute cerebral hemorrhage can improve the hemorheology, vascular endothelial cell function, neurological function and the level of prognosis of patients.
