Abstract： Objective： To observe the clinical effect of Xiao'er Chiqiao Qingre granules combined with oseltamivir phosphate for influenza in children. Methods：A total of 103 cases of children with influenza were selected and divided into the control group and the observation group according to random number table method， with 52 and 51 cases in each group respectively. The control group was given oseltamivir phosphate， and the observation group was additionally treated with Xiao'er Chiqiao Qingre granules based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were continuously treated for five days.The symptom scores before and after treatment，clinical effects and the remission time of symptoms were compared between the two groups. Results：The total effective rate was 94.12% in the observation group，higher than that of 78.85% in the control group(P＜0.05). The time for fever subsidence and remission of cough，as well as remission of pharyngeal red in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment， the main symptom score， secondary symptom score and total symptom score in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)，and the main symptom score，secondary symptom score and total symptom score in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05). Conclusion： The therapy of Xiao'er Chiqiao Qingre granules combined with oseltamivir phosphate has a good clinical effect in the treatment of influenza in children，which can effectively relieve fever，pharyngeal red and other clinical symptoms，and shorten the course of the disease.
