Abstract：Objective：To observe the clinical effect of the therapy of Yiqi Tongqiao tang combined with point application on allergic rhinitis with dual deficiency of lung- spleen syndrome in children. Methods： A total of 62 cases of children with allergic rhinitis with dual deficiency of lung- spleen syndrome were divided into the treatment group and the control group according to the random number table method， with 31 cases in each group. The control group was treated with mometasone furoate nasal spray combined with montelukast sodium chewable tablets， and the treatment group was additionally treated with Yiqi Tongqiao tang combined with point application based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for one month. The clinical effects and incidence of adverse reactions in the two groups were compared； before and after treatment，the scores of symptoms and signs as well as the levels of high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP)，interleukin-6(IL-6) and immunoglobulin E(IgE) in the two groups were compared. Results：The total effective rate was 93.55% in the treatment group，higher than that of 70.97% in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment，the scores of symptoms and signs in both groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)，and the above scores in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment，the levels of hs-CRP， IL-6 and IgE in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)，and the above levels in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions was 25.81% in the control group， and was 6.45% in the treatment group， the difference being significant(P＜0.05). Conclusion： The therapy of Yiqi Tongqiao tang combined with point application has a good clinical effect on allergic rhinitis with dual deficiency of lung- spleen syndrome in children， which can effectively improve their symptoms and signs， reduce the level of inflammatory factors and regulate immune function，with high safety.
