Abstract： This paper introduces SUN Jianhong's clinical experience in treating lung cancer with Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation. Sun Jianhong believes that the occurrence of lung cancer is fundamentally deficient in healthy qi of the human body. The pathogenic qi invades becanse of the deficiency or is generated from the interior. The treatment of it can be divided into four aspects：emphasizing on reinforcing the healthy qi and removing the pathogenic factors timely，treating the root and branch simultaneously and focusing on the complications， conducting psychological guidance and regulating healthy qi， as well as combining Chinese and western medicine with the main focus on the former and the help from the latter. Sun prescribed Feiai Fuzheng prescription by his own and modified it according to different syndromes.
