Abstract：Objective：To observe the curative effect of Chinese medicine fumigatin combined with ostomy for drainage and postoperative anti-infective therapy on Bartholin's cyst and its effect on negative emotions and quality of life of patients. Methods：A total of 82 cases of patients with Bartholin's cyst were selected and randomly divided into the observation group and the control group，with 41 cases in each group. The control group was given ostomy for drainage and postoperative antiinfective therapy， and the observation group was additionally treated with Chinese medicine fumigation based on the treatment of the control group. Before and after treatment，Chinese medicine syndrome scores，and scores of Self- rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)，Self- rating Depression Scale(SDS) and Short Form 36 Health Survey(SF- 36) were compared between the two groups. Clinical effects in the two groups were compared. Results： After treatment， the total effective rate was 95.12% in the observation group，higher than that of 80.49% in the control group(P＜0.05). When compared with those in the same group before treatment， scores of SAS， SDS and Chinese medicine syndromes including pain， swelling， perineal discomfort and increased vaginal discharge after treatment in the two groups were decreased(P＜0.05)， and scores of Physical Component Summary(PCS) and Mental Health Component Summary(MCS) were increased(P＜0.05). After treatment， scores of SAS， SDS and Chinese medicine syndromes including pain， swelling， perineal discomfort and increased vaginal discharge in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05)，and scores of PCS and MCS were higher(P＜0.05). Conclusion： Chinese medicine fumigatin combined with ostomy for drainage and postoperative anti-infective therapy for Bartholin's cyst can effectively relieve clinical symptoms，anxiety and depression of patients，and improve the clinical effect and quality of life.
