Abstract: Objective: To study the medication rules of Chinese medicine in the treatment of leukemia by data mining method, so as to lay a theoretical foundation for the appropriate clinical application of Chinese medicine in leukemia. Methods:The data of leukemia treatment in China Journal Full- text Database,VIP Chinese Medical Journal Database and Wangfang Database from their establishment time to November 15,2020 was searched to establish relevant databases to explore their frequency, association rules and rules of cluster analysis. Results:There were 141 prescriptions in line with the rules and 263 Chinese medicines, with a total frequency of 1 948 times. The top three medicines in the 263 Chinese medicines are mainly Radix Astragali,Herba Hedyotis Diffusae and Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae. The most frequently used Chinese medicines are deficiency- tonifying medicine, heat- clearing medicine and blood- activating and stasis- resolving medicine. The natures and flavors of high-frequency medicines are mainly cold, warm, flat, sweet, bitter and acrid, and their channel entry is mainly liver meridian. The clustering tree shows that the clustering relationship is relatively prominent. A total of 22 pairs of highly correlated medicine pairs are obtained by association rules, including Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae-Poria,Radix Astragali-Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae-Radix Angelicae Sinensis, and Radix Astragali- Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae-Radix Angelicae Sinensis-Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae. Conclusion:This study is in line with the recognized Chinese medicine pathogenesis of deficient root and excess branch in leukemia. It shows that its treatment should focus on reinforcing the healthy qi and securing the root, dispelling pathogen and resolving toxins, and invigorating blood and dispelling stasis. Based on the preliminary medication rules by modern Chinese medicine scholars on leukemia, it can also contribute to providing medication guidance in the treatment of leukemia with Chinese medicine and exploring new Chinese medicine prescriptions for leukemia.
