Abstract: Objective: To observe the clinical effect of the therapy of Kushen gel combined with microwave and fluconazole on mycotic vaginitis. Methods: A total of 60 patients with mycotic vaginitis were selected and divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with fluconazole and microwave;the observation group was additionally treated with Kushen gel based on the treatment of the control group. The clinical effects and disappearance time of main clinical symptoms and signs in the two groups were compared. Before and after treatment, the scores of burning pain and itching of the vulva in the two groups were compared. During treatment, the incidences of adverse reactions in the two groups were compared. After three and six months of follow- up, the recurrences in the two groups were compared. Results: The total effective rate was 96.67% in the observation group and 73.33% in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). After treatment, the time of disappearance of itching of the vulva, mucosal congestion and pain in vulva vaginal and reduction of white vaginal discharge in the observation group was significantly shorter than that in the control group(P<0.05). Before treatment, there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of scores of burning pain and itching of the vulva between the two groups(P>0.05);after treatment, the scores of burning pain and itching of the vulva in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the above two scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). During treatment, no serious adverse reactions were found in both groups. After three and six months of follow-up,the recurrence rates were 0 and 3.83% in the observation group, and were 15.0% and 30.0% in the study group, differences being significant(P<0.05). Conclusion: The therapy of Kushen gel assisting microwave and fluconazole for mycotic vaginitis can improve the clinical effects, effectively relieve the clinical symptoms and signs, accelerate the rehabilitation of the disease, and reduce the recurrence rates, with no obvious adverse reactions.
