Abstract: Objective: To observe the application effect of Chinese medicine nursing combined with hierarchical chain management mode on community- acquired pneumonia in children. Methods: A total of 378 cases of children with community- acquired pneumonia were selected and divided into the observation group and the control group according to different nursing plans, with 197 and 181 cases in each group. The control group was given nursing of hierarchical chain management mode, and the observation group was additionally given Chinese medicine characteristic nursing based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were intervened for seven days. The clinical effects, the disappearance time of pulmonary rales and the antipyretic time in the two groups were compared. Before and after intervention, the levels of white blood cell count(WBC) and C-reactive protein(CRP) in the two groups were compared. Results:The total effective rate was 98.48% in the observation group, higher than that of 92.27% in the control group(P<0.05). The disappearance time of pulmonary rales and the antipyretic time in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05). After intervention, the levels of CRP and WBC in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before intervention (P<0.05),and the above levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion: The therapy of Chinese medicine nursing combined with hierarchical chain management mode for children with communityacquired pneumonia has a better application effect, and can effectively improve their symptoms and signs and reduce the levels of inflammatory factors.
