Abstract：This paper introduces the clinical experience of WANG Yaqun treating stroke-associated pneumonia. Professor WANG Yaqun believes that as the most common complication of stroke， stroke- associated pneumonia is caused by the combination of old and new pathogenic qi and lung injury，with wind，phlegm，heat and blood stasis being its pathological factors. The common clinical syndromes and types are phlegm-damp obstructing the lung，phlegm-heat accumulated in the lung，external cold and internal heat，wind-heat attacking the lung，deficiency of both the lung and spleen and deficiency of qi and yin. In terms of treatment， Erchen tang， Sanzi Yangqin tang， Qingjin Huatan tang， Weijing tang， Maxing Shigan tang， Xiaochengqi tang， yinqiao powder， sangxing tang， Liujunzi tang， Bufei tang， Liuwei Dihuang pills and Shashen Qingfei tang are applied correspondingly.
