Abstract: Diastasis rectus abdominis(DRA) is one of the common complications during pregnancy and postpartum, which belongs to the category of tendon disease in traditional Chinese medicine. Widening of abdominal white line,decrease of tension and abdominal muscle dysfunction are the basic clinical characteristics of postpartum DRA. DRA has both psychological and physiological effects on postpartum women. This paper systematically reviews the research progress of traditional Chinese and Western medicine in postpartum DRA in recent years.
