Abstract:Objective:To observe the curative effect of Wubei powder combined with quadruple chemotherapy for gastric ulcer and its effect on inflammatory factors. Methods: A total of 200 cases of patients with gastric ulcer were selected as research objects, and were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group according to 1∶1 principle, with 100 cases in each group. The control group was treated with quadruple chemotherapy, and the observation group was additionally treated with Wubei powder. The levels of inflammatory factors before and after treatment as well as the clinical effects in the two groups were compared. Results: The total effective rate was 97.00% in the observation group, higher than that of 90.00% in the control group(P<0.05). After treatment, the disappearance time of abdominal pain, abdominal distension, belching and hematochezia in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group(P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of interferon- γ(INF- γ), interleukin- 2(IL- 2) and interleukin- 12(IL- 12) in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05), and the levels of superoxide dismutase(SOD), vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) and epithelial growth factor(EGF) were increased(P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of INF- γ, IL- 2 and IL- 12 in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05), and the levels of SOD, VEGF and EGF were higher(P<0.05). Conclusion: The therapy of Wubei powder combined with quadruple chemotherapy for gastric ulcer has a significant curative effect, and can effectively inhibit the secretion of inflammatory factors and promote the release of gastric mucosal protective factors.
