Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of modified Huanglian Wendan tang combined with Liujunzi tang for chronic atrophic gastritis(CAG). Methods: A total of 121 cases of CAG patients were selected and divided into the control group and the treatment group according to the random number table method, with 60 and 61 cases in each group respectively. Both groups were treated with omeprazole enteric-coated capsules;the control group was additionally treated with Liujunzi tang, and the treatment group was additionally treated with modified Huanglian Wendan tang based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for four weeks. The clinical effects in the two groups were observed. Before and after treatment,the changes in Chinese medicine syndrome scores and the levels of gastrointestinal hormones including gastrin- 17(G17) and pepsinogen Ⅰ(PG Ⅰ), inflammatory factors including interleukin 17(IL- 17), tumor necrosis factor α(TNF-α) and C-reactive protein(CRP),and immune function including CD4+ cells(CD4+ ),NK cells(NK) and CD8+ cells (CD8+) in the two groups were compared. Results:After treatment,the scores of poor appetite,anemia and abdominal pain in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment,and the scores of the above three Chinese medicine syndromes in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group, differences being significant(P< 0.05). After treatment, the levels of G17 and PGI in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment,and the levels of G17 and PGI in the treatment group were higher than those in the control group,differences being significant(P<0.05). After treatment,the levels of IL- 17,TNF- α and CRP in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment, and the above three levels in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group, differences being significant(P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of CD4 + and NK in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment,and CD8+ levels were decreased;the levels of CD4+ and NK in the treatment group were higher than those in the control group, and CD8 + level was lower than that in the control group, differences being significant(P<0.05). The total effective rate of clinical effect was 95.08% in the treatment group and 81.67% in the control group,the difference being significant(P<0.05). Conclusion:The therapy of modified Huanglian Wendan tang combined with Liujunzi tang for CAG can relieve the clinical symptoms,effectively reduce the inflammatory responses and improve the body immunity.
