Abstract： Objective： To observe the curative effect of modified Shengmai powder combined with Danshen yin for diabetic cardiomyopathy of deficiency of qi and yin with stasis type and its effect on myocardial fibrosis. Methods：A total of 112 cases of patients with diabetic cardiomyopathy of deficiency of qi and yin with stasis type were divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table method，with 56 cases in each group. The control group was treated with routine western medicine，and the observation group was additionally treated with modified Shengmai powder combined with Danshen yin based on the treatment of the control group. The changes in fasting blood glucose(FBG)， postprandial 2 h blood glucose(P2hBG)， total cholesterol(TC)， triglyceride(TG)， left ventricular end diastolic diameter(LVEDD)， left atrial diameter(LAD)， left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)， high- sensitivity C- reactive protein (hs- CRP) ， lipoprotein- associated phospholipase A2(Lp- PLA2) ， platelet alpha- granule membrane protein(GPM- 140) ， hyaluronic acid(HA)，laminin(LN) and N-terminal procollagen Ⅲ propeptide(PⅢNP) before and after treatment as well as the curative effect of Chinese medicine syndromes and the drug resistance in the two groups were compared. Results：The total effective rate was 87.50% in the observation group， higher than that of 71.43% in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment， FBG， P2hBG， TG， TC， LAD， LVEDD， hs- CRP， Lp- PLA2， GPM- 140， P ⅢNP， LN and HA in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)， and LVEF was increased(P＜0.05)； the FBG，P2hBG，TG，TC，LAD，LVEDD，hs- CRP，Lp- PLA2，GPM- 140，PⅢNP，LN and HA in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05)， and LVEF was higher(P＜0.05). Conclusion： Modified Shengmai powder combined with Danshen yin for diabetic cardiomyopathy of deficiency of qi and yin with stasis type can lower blood glucose and regulate liquid，reduce levels of inflammatory factors and platelet activity，improve heart function，and prevent process of myocardial fibrosis，with a significant curative effect and good drug resistance.
