Abstract： Based on the dosage of aconiti lateralis radix praeparata published in the 2005 edition of Chinese Pharmacopoeia and the ancient and modern dose conversion method of drugs in the 5th edition Shanghan Lun Hanouts，this paper summarizes the application of high-dose aconiti lateralis radix praeparata in the treatment of acute，critical and difficult diseases in clinical reports，and discusses the experience and law of high-dose application of aconiti lateralis radix praeparata， as well as the warning of safe drug use.
