Abstract: Objective: To explore the advantages and disadvantages of Problem- based learning(PBL) + Lecture- based learning(LBL)+Case-based learning(CBL) mixed teaching mode in medical undergraduate education. Methods:36 undergraduate medical students majoring in integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine of grade 2016 of Guangzhou University of traditional Chinese medicine were selected to adopt the PBL+LBL+CBL mixed teaching mode in the teaching of integrated ophthalmology of traditional Chinese and Western medicine. The teaching effect was evaluated after class. Results: The overall response of students to the mixed teaching mode is good,which can mobilize students' enthusiasm,shape students' thinking mode and cultivate students' clinical thinking. The vast majority of students believe that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. Conclusion: As an effective teaching mode, PBL + LBL + CBL mixed teaching mode has developed its strengths and avoided its weaknesses through reform and innovation.
