Abstract：Objective：To observe the clinical effect of Xiaju Huayu capsules on heart function and cardiovascular events of patients with coronary microvascular disease and its safety. Methods： A total of 80 cases of patients with coronary microvascular disease were selected and divided into two groups according to the random number table method ， with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with standardized drugs for coronary heart disease， and the observation group was additionally treated with Xiaju Huayu capsules based on the treatment of the control group. Curative effect was observed during the three- month treatment. Changes in left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)， left ventricular end diastolic diameter(LVEDD)， left ventricular end systolic diameter(LVESD)， and left ventricular mass index(LVMI) were observed and compared between the two groups. The incidences of cardiovascular events during three-month follow-up and adverse reactions in the two groups were recorded. Results：After treatment，LVEF，LVEDD，LVESD and LVMI in the two groups were improved when compared with those before treatment， differences being significant(P＜0.05)； the improvement in the observation group was more significant than that in the control group，differences being significant(P＜ 0.05). The incidence of cardiovascular events in the observation group was obviously lower than that in the control group， differences being significant(P＜0.05)；there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05). Conclusion：Xiaju Huayu capsules can improve heart function and left ventricular remodeling in patients with coronary microvascular disease，reduce the incidence of cardiovascular events，and has no obvious adverse reactions.
