Abstract：Objective：To analyze administration rules of prescriptions of Professor SUN Bing in the treatment of infertility caused by polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS) based on data mining. Methods：The cases of PCOS infertility cases treated by Professor SUN Bing from January 2017 to January 2020 were collected；the prescriptions were entered into the Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Support System V2.5(hereinafter called as the “platform”) to establish a database； the platform was applied to conduct statistics of natures and flavors，meridian entry，frequency and combination of medicines， and explore new formulas；SPSS Modeler 18.0 software and Cytoscape 3.7.2 software were applied for association rules and co- occurrence analysis of Chinese herbal medicine. Results ： A total of 123 prescriptions were collected ， involving 116 Chinese herbal medicines. Most of them were sweet medicines，followed by spicy and bitter medicines；the medicinal nature was mainly warm and neutral；the meridian entry was mostly liver meridian，followed by spleen and kidney meridians. The top 6 Chinese herbal medicines used frequently were Radix Codonopsis， Radix Angelicae Sinensis， Fructus Ligustri Lucidi， Herba Ecliptae， Semen Cuscutae and Herba Taxilli； the combinations of medicine with higher frequency of application under different numbers of flavors included Radix Codonopsis-Radix Angelicae Sinensis，Semen Cuscutae-Radix Codonopsis-Radix Angelicae Sinensis，Radix Codonopsis-Radix Angelicae Sinensis-Fructus Ligustri Lucidi-Herba Ecliptae. The core prescription was Radix Codonopsis-Radix Angelicae Sinensis- Semen Cuscutae- Fructus Ligustri Lucidi- Herba Ecliptae- Herba Taxilli- Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae Praeparata cum Melle- Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata- Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae- Fructus Lycii- Fructus Amomi- Radix Astragali. Based on entropy clustering algorithm，10 new prescription combinations and 4 new prescriptions were obtained. Conclusion：The overall administration of Professor SUN treating PCOS infertility takes both deficiency and excess into account. The treatment is based on method of tonifying kidney and supplementing essence， with Bazhen tang and Erzhi pills as the basic prescription， combined with methods of invigorating blood，dispelling dampness and rectifying qi，etc.，and emphasizing supplementation without stagnation as well as dynamic and static combination，so as to comply with the physiological process of follicle growth and excretion.
