Abstract： Objective： To observe the clinical effect of the therapy of Relinqing granules combined with levofloxacin on acute pyelonephritis of bladder damp- heat type. Methods：A total of 106 patients with acute pyelonephritis were selected and divided into the control group and the observation group according to random number table method， with 53 cases in each group. The control group was treated with levofloxacin hydrochloride injection from Day 1 to 7，and levofloxacin lactate tablets from Day 8 to 14. The observation group was additionally treated with Relinqing granules based on the treatment of the control group. The treatment course of the two groups was two weeks. The clinical effect，symptom disappearance time and levels of serum C- reactive protein(CRP) and procalcitonin(PCT) were compared between the two groups. Results： The effective rate was 86.79% in the observation group and 67.92% in the control group， the difference being significant(P＜ 0.05). The disappearance time of lower back pain，fever and urinary tract irritation in the observation group was significantly shorter than that in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment， the levels of serum CRP and PCT in both groups were significantly decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)，and the two levels in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05). Conclusion： The therapy of Relinqing granules combined with levofloxacin has a significant clinical effect on the treatment of acute pyelonephritis of bladder damp-heat type，which can effectively improve the inflammatory responses and accelerate the recovery of the disease.
