Abstract：Objective：To analyze administration rules of professor WU Yu treating lung cancer of qi- yin deficiency type based on data mining technology，and his therapeutic thought and medication characteristics. Methods：The prescriptions of lung cancer of qi-yin deficiency type made by Professor WU Yu in clinic from April 2019 to September 2020 were collected to carry out a frequency analysis of four qi，five flavors，meridian entry，and medical effects of the Chinese herbal medicine contained in the prescriptions. By setting different support and confidence degrees and through methods of association rules， medicine relationship and cluster analysis， Chinese Medicine Inheritance Support System V3.0 was used to analyze combination rules of the Chinese medicine contained in the prescription and excavate Professor WU's medication ideas. Results：A total of 912 prescriptions were enrolled，involving 126 Chinese herbal medicines. These Chinese herbal medicines are basically deficiency- supplementing medicine， being cold， warm and neutral in four qi， and bitter and sweet in five flavors； the lung meridian， the spleen meridian and the stomach meridian are the principal meridian entries. Radix Pseudostellariae-Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae has the highest application frequency as to medicine combination. As for the medicine relationship， Radix Pseudostellariae， Radix Astragali， Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae， Rhizoma Pinelliae，Semen Coicis，Bulbus Fritillariae Thunbergii，Radix et Rhizoma Clematidis，Radix Glehniae，Radix Ophiopogonis， Rhizoma Bolbostematis，Herba Hedyotis Diffusae，Herba Scutellariae Barbatae and Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae have the highest correlation. Conclusion： The treatment of lung cancer of qi- yin deficiency type by Professor WU Yu focuses on boosting qi and nourishing yin， as well as detoxifying， resolving phlegm and dissipating binds， which is assisted by regulating qi，activating blood and draining dampness.
