Curative Effect of Guanxinning Tablet Combined with Western Medicine for Chronic Stable Angina Pectoris Complicated with Depression and Its Effect on SAQ Scores and 5-HT
Abstract:Objective:To observe the curative effect of Guanxinning tablet combined with western medicine for chronic stable angina pectoris(CSAP) complicated with depression and its effect on Seattle Angina Questionnaire(SAQ) scores and 5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT). Methods:A total of 80 cases of patients with CSAP complicated with depression were selected and divided into the control group and the treatment group according to the random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with western medicine, and the treatment group was additionally treated with Guanxinning tablet based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for one month. The clinical effects in the two groups were compared;the changes in the scores of SAQ,Hamilton Depression Rating Scale(HAMD- 17) and Chinese medicine syndromes as well as the levels of cortisol(CORT),norepinephrine(NA) and 5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT) in serum before and after treatment in the two groups were compared;the incidences of adverse reactions during treatment in the two groups were compared. Results: The total effective rate of clinical effect was 77.50% in the control group and 95.00% in the treatment group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). After treatment,SAQ scores were increased when compared with those before treatment, and the scores of HAMD- 17 and Chinese medicine syndromes were decreased, differences being significant(P<0.05). After treatment, the SAQ score in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group, and the scores of HAMD-17 and Chinese medicine syndromes were lower, differences being significant(P< 0.05). After treatment,CORT levels in the treatment group were decreased when compared with those before treatment, and the levels of NA and 5- HT were increased, differences being significant(P<0.05); the CORT level in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group, and the levels of NA and 5-HT were higher, differences being significant(P< 0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions was 5.00% in the control group and 7.50% in the treatment group, there being no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05). Conclusion: The therapy of Guanxinning tablet combined with western medicine has a good clinical effect in the treatment of CSAP complicated with depression, which can effectively improve depressive symptoms, clinical Chinese medicine symptoms and quality of life, with high medication safety.
