Abstract: Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Fuyuan Xingnao tang assisting the treatment of acute cerebral infarction and its effect on the levels of hemorheology indexes, hypoxia- inducible factor- 1α(HIF- 1α), peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor γ(PPARγ),interleukin-10(IL-10) and insulin-like growth factor-1(IGF-1). Methods:A total of 114 cases of patients with acute cerebral infarction were randomly divided into the study group and the control group. The control group was given routine symptomatic treatment including maintaining water,electrolyte and acid-base balance,and the study group was additionally treated with Fuyuan Xingnao tang based on the treatment of the control group. The hemorheology indexes,and the levels of HIF- 1α,PPARγ,IL- 10 and IGF- 1 in serum before and after treatment and the clinical effects in the two groups were compared. Results:After two-week treatment,the total effective rate was 89.47% in the study group,significantly higher than that of 73.68% in the control group(P<0.05). After treatment,the levels of IGF-1 in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the hemorheology indexes and the levels of HIF- 1α, PPARγ and IL- 10 were decreased(P<0.05); the IGF- 1 level in serum in the study group was increased when compared with that in the control group(P<0.05), and levels of HIF- 1α, PPARγ, IL- 10, high shear viscosity of whole blood,low shear viscosity of whole blood and plasma viscosity were significantly decreased(P<0.05). After treatment,the scores of National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS) in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the NIHSS score in the study group was lower than that in the control group(P< 0.05). Conclusion: Fuyuan Xingnao tang assisting the treatment of acute cerebral infarction can significantly improve hemorheology indexes and neurological function,regulate the expression levels of HIF-1α,PPARγ,IL-10 and IGF-1,and improve the curative effect.
