Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of patients with vertigo of ascendant hyperactivity of liver yang type treated by Tiaodu Xifeng acupuncture method combined with Zhen'gan Xifeng tang. Methods:A total of 120 cases of patients with vertigo of ascendant hyperactivity of liver yang type were divided into the study group and the control group according to the random number table method,with 60 cases in each group. Based on routine western medicine,the control group was additionally treated with Zhen'gan Xifeng tang,and the study group was additionally treated with Tiaodu Xifeng acupuncture method based on the treatment of the control group. The levels of blood pressure and vascular endothelial function before and after treatment as well as the clinical effects in the two groups were compared. Results:After treatment,the total effective rate was 93.33% in the study group, significantly higher than that of 80.00% in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). After treatment,endothelin,systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and nitric oxide(NO) levels were increased(P<0.05);the levels of endothelin,systolic and diastolic blood pressure in the study group were decreased when compared with those in the control group(P<0.05), and the level of NO was increased(P<0.05). Conclusion: Based on routine treatment, the additional therapy of Tiaodu Xifeng acupuncture method combined with Zhen'gan Xifeng tang for vertigo of ascendant hyperactivity of liver yang type has a definite curative effect, which can effectively regulate blood pressure and vascular endothelial function.
