Clinical Effect of Taohong Siwu Tang Combined with Routine Western Medicine for Coronary Heart Disease Angina Pectoris and Its Effect on Serum Inflammatory Factors
Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Taohong Siwu tang combined with routine western medicine for coronary heart disease angina pectoris and its effect on serum inflammatory factors. Methods:A total of 80 cases of patients with coronary heart disease angina pectoris were selected as research objects and divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with routine western medicine, and the observation group was additionally treated with aohong Siwu tang based on the treatment of the control group. After two weeks of treatment, the clinical effects in the two groups were compared. Before and after treatment, the changes in frequency and duration of angina pectoris attack, hemorheology indexes including whole blood viscosity(WBV),plasma viscosity(PV) and fibrinogen(Fib) as well as the levels of serum inflammatory factors including C- reactive protein(CRP), tumor necrosis factor- α(TNF- α) and interleukin- 6(IL- 6) in the two groups were compared. Results:The total effective rate was 95.00% in the observation group and 77.50% in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). After treatment, the frequency and duration of angina pectoris attack in the two groups were less or shorter than those before treatment, and the frequency and duration of angina pectoris in the observation group were less or shorter than those in the control group, differences being significant(P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of WBV,PV and Fib in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment, and all the above indexes in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, differences being significant(P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of serum inflammatory factors including CRP,TNF-α and IL-6 in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment, and all the above indexes in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, differences being significant(P<0.05). Conclusion: The therapy of Taohong Siwu tang combined with routine western medicine for coronary heart disease angina pectoris can effectively relieve the clinical symptoms of patients, improve their hemorheology indexes, and down-regulate the levels of serum inflammatory factors.
