Abstract： Objective： To observe the clinical effect of Xuefu Zhuyu capsules combined with dexzopiclone tablets for insomnia after stroke with internal obstruction of blood stasis syndrome. Methods： A total of 102 cases of patients with insomnia after stroke with internal obstruction of blood stasis syndrome were selected and divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method，with 51 cases in each group. The control group was treated with dexzopiclone tablets，and the observation group was additionally treated with Xuefu Zhuyu capsules based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for two months. The scores of Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) and Barthel index before and after treatment as well as the clinical effects in the two groups were compared. Results： After treatment，time for falling asleep，sleep efficiency，sleep duration，sleep disorders and daytime function scores in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)，and the above scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment， Barthel index scores in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)，and the Barthel index scores in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P＜0.05). The total effective rate was 96.08% in the observation group，higher than that of 80.39% in the control group(P＜0.05). Conclusion： The therapy of Xuefu Zhuyu capsules combined with dexzopiclone tablets for insomnia after stroke with internal obstruction of blood stasis syndrome has a good curative effect， which can improve the sleep quality of patients and enhance their activities of daily living.
