Effect of Guanxinning Tablets Combined with Western Medicine on Vascular Endothe⁃ lial Function and Inflammatory Response of Patients with Stable Angina Pectoris
Abstract: Objective: To observe the effect of Guanxinning tablets combined with western medicine on stable angina pectoris and the effect on vascular endothelial function and inflammatory response. Methods:A total of 64 cases of patients with stable angina pectoris were enrolled and divided into the treatment group and the control group according to the random number table method, with 32 cases in each group. Both groups were treated with routine western medicine, and the treatment group was additionally treated with Guanxinning tablets. Both groups were treated for eight weeks. Before and after treatment, the numbers of weekly angina pectoris attacks per week, the duration of each attack and the dosage of nitroglycerin were compared. Before treatment and after eight- week treatment, the levels of nitric oxide(NO),endothelin (ET) - 1, tumor necrosis factor(TNF) - α and hypersensitive C- reactive protein(hs- CRP) were detected. Results: After treatment, the numbers of angina pectoris attacks per week and the dosage of nitroglycerin per week in the two groups were reduced when compared with those before treatment, and the duration of each attack was shortened, differences being significant(P<0.01). The number of angina pectoris attacks per week and the dosage of nitroglycerin per week in the treatment group were fewer than those in the control group, and the duration of each attack was shorter, differences being significant(P<0.01). Plasma NO levels in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment, and ET-1 levels were decreased, differences being significant(P<0.01);NO level in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group, and ET- 1 level was lower, differences being significant(P<0.01). The levels of TNF- α and hs- CRP in serum in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.01);the above two indexes in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.01). Conclusion:Based on routine western medicine treatment, the additional application of Guanxinning tablets for stable angina pectoris can enhance the curative effect, effectively improve angina attacks and vascular endothelial function of patients, and reduce the degree of inflammatory response.
