Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of the intervention of point massage combined with hot compress of moxa salt package on the prevention of urinary retention in vaginal-delivery puerpera. Methods:A total of 200 puerpera were selected and divided into the control group and the observation group according to random number table method, with 100 cases in each group. The control group was intervened by making them listen to the sound of water to induce urine. The observation group was intervened with point massage combined with hot compress of moxa salt package. The clinical effect, incidence of urinary retention, time of first urination and residual urine volume of bladder after first urination were compared between the two groups. Results:The clinical effect of urinary retention in the observation group was better than that in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). The incidence of urinary retention was 7.00% in the observation group and 17.00% in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). After treatment, the first urination time of the observation group was shorter than that of the control group, and the residual urine volume of the bladder after the first urination in the observation group was less than that in the control group, the differences being significant(P<0.05). Conclusion:The intervention of point massage combined with hot compress of moxa salt package can effectively reduce the incidence of urinary retention, shorten postpartum urination time and reduce residual urine volume after urination.
