Abstract:Objective:To observe the curative effect of the therapy of Xianling Gubao capsules combined with zoledronic acid and calcir D on osteoporosis and its effect on bone metabolism indexes. Methods: A total of 90 OP patients were selected and divided into the treatment group and the control group by numerical odd-even method,with 45 cases in each group. The control group was given zoledronate acid and calcir D, and the treatment group was additionally given Xianling Gubao capsules based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for six courses of treatment, four weeks being one course. The clinical effects in the two groups were observed, and the changes of Chinese medicine syndrome scores,scores of Numerical Rating Scale(NRS),bone pain,bone mineral density and bone metabolism indexes, including blood phosphorus(P), blood calcium(Ca), alkaline phosphatase(ALP), were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. Results:The total clinical effective rate was 95.56% in the treatment group and 80.00% in the control group,the difference being significant(P<0.05). After treatment,the Chinese medicine syndrome scores and NRS scores in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment,and the Chinese medicine syndrome score and NRS score in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group, differences being significant(P< 0.05). After treatment, the bone mineral density of lumbar L1- 4 and femoral neck in both groups was increased when respectively compared with that before treatment,and the bone mineral density of lumbar L1-4 and femoral neck in treatment group was respectively higher than that in the control group, differences being significant(P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of P,Ca and ALP in both groups were increased when compared with those before treatment,and the above three levels in the treatment group were higher than those in the control group,differences being significant(P<0.05). Conclusion: The therapy of Xianling Gubao capsules combined with zoledronic acid and calcir D has a significant curative effect on the treatment of OP, which can effectively relieve the clinical symptoms, reduce the degree of bone pain, increase bone mineral density and improve bone metabolism.
