Abstract： Objective： To observe the clinical effect of Wenshen Zhuyun tang combined with western medicine for infertility induced by polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS). Methods： A total of 80 cases of patients with infertility induced by PCOS were selected and divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method，with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with western medicine，and the observation group was additionally treated with Wenshen Zhuyun tang based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for three months. Clinical effects were compared between the two groups. The number and diameter of dominant follicles， endometrial thickness in luteal phase and sex hormone levels[estradiol(E2)， follicle stimulating hormone(FSH)， luteinizing hormone(LH) and testosterone(T)]. Results：After treatment，the total clinical effective rate was 97.50% in the observation group and 85.00% in the control group，the difference being significant(P＜0.05). After treatment，number and diameter of dominant follicles and endometrial thickness in luteal phase in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment， and the above three indexes in the observation group were higher than those in the control group， differences being significant(P＜0.05). After treatment， E2 levels in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment， and levels of FSH， LH， T and LH/FSH in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment，differences being significant(P＜0.05)；E2 level in the observation group was higher than that in the control group， and levels of FSH， LH， T and LH/FSH were lower， differences being significant(P＜0.05). Conclusion： Wenshen Zhuyun tang combined with western medicine has a relatively good clinical effect on infertility induced by PCOS， which can promote ovulation，thicken endometrium，restore sex hormone levels.
