Abstract：Objective：To observe the clinical effect of Lingyangjiao capsules combined with tiapride hydrochloride tablets for infantile Tourette syndrome. Methods：A total of 84 cases of children with Tourette syndrome were selected as research objects，and were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method， with 42 cases in each group. The control group was given the oral administration of tiapride hydrochloride tablets，and the observation group was additionally treated with Lingyangjiao capsules based on the treatment of the control group. Yale Global Tic Severity Scale(YGTSS) scores before and after treatment in the two groups were compared. The incidence frequency，the duration of intermission， the incidence of adverse reactions and the recurrence rates of disease in the two groups were compared. Results： After treatment， the total effective rate was 95.24% in the observation group， higher than that of 83.33% in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment， YGTSS scores in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment，and YGTSS score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment，the incidence frequency in the observation group was lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05)，and the duration of intermission was longer(P＜0.05). There was no significant difference being found in the comparison of the incidences of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05). Conclusion： The therapy of Lingyangjiao capsules combined with tiapride hydrochloride tablets for infantile Tourette syndrome has a definite curative effect，and can reduce the incidence frequency and the recurrence risk of infantile Tourette syndrome with high safety.
