Abstract："Eight methods of action- determination sequence" is a theoretical system proposed by Fan Guanjie with the characteristics of "symptom- syndrome- core pathogenesis- treatment method- Chinese medicine string". It is emphasized that the law of occurrence and development of diseases should be grasped with dynamic thinking，and the core pathogenesis of diseases should be grasped， so that the syndrome differentiation and treatment of diseases will be more systematic， holistic and regular. Based on the theoretical system of "Eight methods of action- determination sequence"， this paper proposes to treat diabetic peripheral neuropathy with dynamic thinking and grasping the main symptoms as the diagnosis and treatment ideas. With "blood stasis blocking collaterals" as the core pathogenesis，flexible combination as well as sequential treatment of Chinese medicine strings，and internal and external treatment as the main treatment methods，it hopes to open up new ideas for the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy.
