Abstract： With the patients suffering from degenerative changes of the cervical spine getting younger， lower cervical spine instability shows an ascending trend， and the external treatment of Chinese medicine has unique advantages in the treatment of this disease. In the treatment of degenerative lower cervical spine instability， Prof. FU Ruiyang upholds the treatment concept that physicians should firstly soften tendons and then set the bone，and also combine dynamic and static treatment，focusing on rehabilitation. During his treatment，the three-dimensional spatial balance of the neck is restored by therapeutic manipulation for tendon injury and localized rotation manipulations in the “localized position”， assisted by the combined treatment of active and passive motion therapy and Kinesio taping therapy to restore the proprioception of patients. By doing so，the disease can be treated from the root，with good clinical effect.
