Abstract： Objective： To observe the clinical effect of Ziyin Bushen tang combined with external washing of Chinese medicine for recurrent mycotic vaginitis. Methods：A total of 84 cases of patients with recurrent mycotic vaginitis were randomly divided into the control group and the study group，with 42 cases in each group. The control group was given routine treatment，and the study group was additionally treated with Ziyin Bushen tang combined with external washing of Chinese medicine based on the treatment of the control group. Clinical effects，adverse drug reactions，recurrence，Chinese medicine syndrome scores， vaginal pH values， secretory immunoglobulin A(sIgA) and inflammatory indexes in the two groups were compared. Results：The total curative effective rate was 88.10% in the study group，higher than that of 69.05% in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment， Chinese medicine syndrome scores， vaginal pH values and the levels of interleukin- 6(IL- 6) and tumor necrosis factor- α(TNF- α) in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)， and sIgA levels were increased(P＜ 0.05)；Chinese medicine syndrome score，vaginal pH value and the levels of IL-6 and TNF-α in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05)，and the sIgA level was higher(P＜0.05). After treatment，there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of the incidences of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05). After six-month follow-up，the recurrence rate was 4.76% in the study group，lower than that of 21.43% in the control group(P＜0.05). Conclusion：The therapy of Ziyin Bushen tang combined with external washing of Chinese medicine for recurrent mycotic vaginitis has a significant curative effect，which can effectively relieve the clinical symptoms of patients and promote the recovery of normal vaginal environment，with a low recurrence rate.
