Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of warming- needle moxibustion at Shenshu point (BL23) combined with modified Suoquan pills for infantile enuresis. Methods:A total of 60 cases of patients with infantile enuresis were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with modified Suoquan pills, and the observation group was additionally treated with warming- needle moxibustion at Shenshu point based on the treatment of the control group. Before and after treatment, the Chinese medicine syndrome scores, clinical effects and recurrence rates in the two groups were compared. Results:Before treatment, there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of Chinese medicine syndrome scores between the two groups(P>0.05). After treatment,Chinese medicine syndrome scores in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment, and the Chinese medicine syndrome score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). Three months after treatment, the recurrence rate was 6.67% in the observation group, lower than that of 26.67% in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). Conclusion:Warming- needle moxibustion at Shenshu point combined with modified Suoquan pills has a good clinical effect in treating infantile enuresis, and can improve the clinical symptoms and reduce recurrence rates.
