Abstract: Objective: To observe the clinical effect of acupuncture and moxibustion combined with swallowing rehabilitation training for dysphagia after stroke. Methods:A total of 90 cases of stroke patients were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group, with 45 cases in each group. The control group was given swallowing rehabilitation training, and the observation group was additionally treated with acupuncture and moxibustion based on the treatment of the control group. The changes in swallowing function and quality of life before and after treatment, and the clinical effects in the two groups were compared. Results: After treatment, the scores of Water Swallow Test in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the scores of Functional Oral Intake Scale(FOIS) and quality of life were increased(P<0.05);after treatment, the score of Water Swallow Test in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05), and the scores of FOIS and quality of life were higher(P<0.05). After treatment, the total effective rate was 91.11% in the observation group, higher than that of 75.56% in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion: The application of acupuncture and moxibustion combined with swallowing rehabilitation training for patients with dysphagia after stroke is helpful to improve the swallowing function, the clinical effect and the quality of life.
