Abstract： WU Jinhua is a famous Chinese medicine practitioner in Guangdong province and a nephropathy expert in Lingnan area. He has rich experience in clinical treatment of nephropathy，especially in the treatment of chronic renal failure(CRF). Wu believes that the depletion of kidney origin is the cause of CRF， and the main inducements of the disease are the external contraction of pathogenic factors， improper diet， medicinal toxicity- caused damage， fatigue and chronic illness. In clinical syndrome and treatment，the moderate conditions or acute conditions of the root and branch should be judged under the principle of excess and deficiency；the spleen and kidney should be treated simultaneously and the qi and blood should be emphasized. The methods of clearing and nourishing should be taken into consideration and the methods of astringing and discharging should be combined. Physicians should cautiously treat the disease，focusing on the moderate and heavy treatments，and also combine the disease with syndromes， and make Chinese medicine and western medicine complement each other.
