Abstract: Objective: To observe the clinical effect of the therapy of Lemai pills combined with conventional western medicine on the treatment of stable angina pectoris due to coronary heart disease. Methods:A total of 76 patients with stable angina pectoris were selected and divided into the control group and the treatment group according to random number table, with 38 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional western medicine, and the treatment group was additionally treated with Lemai pills based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for two weeks. The improvement of angina pectoris, hemorheology indexes and clinical effect were compared between the two groups. Results:The total effective rate was 92.11% in the treatment group and 71.05% in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). After treatment, the number of angina pectoris attacks per week, duration of each angina pectoris attack and weekly nitroglycerin dosage in both groups were significantly decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the above indexes in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). After treatment, the whole blood high shear viscosity, whole blood low shear viscosity and plasma viscosity in both groups were significantly decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the above indexes in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion:The therapy of Lemai pills combined with conventional western medicine has a significant effect on patients with stable angina pectoris due to coronary heart disease, which can effectively reduce the attack times and attack time of angina pectoris and nitroglycerin dosagina, improve the hemorheology indexes.
