Abstract：Objective：To observe the application effect of Taohong Siwu tang combined with ibuprofen sustained release capsules on adenomyosis and its effect on uterine blood flow parameters. Methods： A total of 72 patients with adenomyosis were selected as the research objects and divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method， with 36 cases in each group. The control group was given ibuprofen sustained-release capsules orally，and the observation group was additionally treated with Taohong Siwu tang based on the treatment of the control group. The clinical effects and the degrees of pain，serum prostaglandin，carbohydrate antigen 125(CA125) and uterine blood flow parameters before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results： The total effective rate was 100% in the observation group， higher than that of 86.11% in the control group， the difference being significant (P＜0.05). After one course and three courses of treatment，the scores of Visual Analogue Scale(VAS) in the two groups were decreased gradually，and the scores of VAS in the observation group were lower than those in the control group at the same time respectively， differences being significant(P＜0.05). After one course and three courses of treatment， the levels of serum prostaglandin and CA125 in the two groups were decreased gradually，and the above two levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group at the same time respectively，differences being significant(P＜ 0.05). After one course and three courses of treatment，the levels of peak systolic velocity(PSV) and enddiastolic velocity(EDV) during systolic period of uterine arteries in the two groups were decreased gradually， and the levels of resistance index (RI) were gradually increased(P＜0.05)；the levels of PSV and EDV in the observation group were lower than those in the control group at the same time respectively，and the levels of RI in the study group were higher(P＜0.05). Conclusion： The therapy of Taohong Siwu tang combined with ibuprofen sustained release capsules has a good clinical effect on adenomyosis，which can relieve the pain，reduce the levels of serum prostaglandin and CA125，and improve the uterine blood flow parameters.
