Abstract：Objective：To observe the clinical effect of Zhenzhu Tongluo pills combined with acupuncture for cerebral infarction. Methods：A total of 80 cases of patients with cerebral infarction were selected and divided into the study group and the control group according to the random number table method， with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with basic treatment and acupuncture， and the study group was additionally treated with Zhenzhu Tongluo pills based on the treatment of the control group. The clinical effects and the levels of inflammatory factors in serum in the two groups were compared. The improvement of neurological function was observed. Results： The total effective rate was 92.50% in the study group， higher than that of 75.00% in the control group， the difference being significant(P＜0.05). Before treatment， there was no significance difference being found in the comparison of the scores of National Institute of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS) and the levels of interleukin-6(IL-6) and interleukin-4(IL-4) between the two groups(P＞0.05). After treatment，the NIHSS scores and IL- 6 levels in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment，and the NIHSS score and IL-6 level in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05)；the IL-4 levels in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment，and the IL-4 level in the study group was higher than that in the control group(P＜0.05). Conclusion：Zhenzhu Tongluo pills combined with acupuncture has a significant curative effect in treating cerebral infarction， which can effectively relieve inflammation and improve neurological function.
