Abstract: Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Wenyang Huoxue Yiqi tang combined with electroacupuncture for post- exercise neuromuscular injury. Methods:A total of 91 cases of patients with post- exercise neuromuscular injury were selected and divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method,with 45 and 46 cases in each group respectively. The control group was given routine rehabilitation therapy and oral administration of vitamin B1, and the observation group was additionally treated with Wenyang Huoxue Yiqi tang combined with electroacupuncture based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for one month. The clinical effects in the two groups were compared;the changes of Chinese medicine symptom scores and Visual Analogue Scale(VAS) scores before and after treatment in the two groups were compared;the superior rates of muscle strength recovery in the two groups were compared. Results:The total effective rate of clinical effect was 95.65% in the observation group and 82.22% in the control group,the difference being significant(P<0.05). After treatment, Chinese medicine symptom scores in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment,and the Chinese medicine symptom score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, differences being significant(P<0.05). The superior rate of muscle strength recovery was 78.26% in the observation group and 51.11% in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). After treatment, VAS scores in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment, and VAS score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, differences being significant(P<0.05). Conclusion: The therapy of Wenyang Huoxue Yiqi tang combined with electroacupuncture for patients with post-exercise neuromuscular injury can relieve their clinical symptoms, alleviate pain, promote the recovery of muscle strength and improve the rehabilitation effect.
