Abstract：Objective：To observe the clinical effect of the therapy of Fuzheng Quyu tang combined with chemotherapy on advanced gastric cancer and its effect on immune function and quality of life. Methods：A total of 90 patients with advanced gastric cancer were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method，with 45 cases in each group. The control group was treated with FOLFOX chemotherapy， and the observation group was additionally treated with Fuzheng Quyu tang orally based on the treatment of the control group. The clinical effects were compared between the two groups. Before and after treatment， the quality of life and the levels of immunoglobulin A(IgA)， immunoglobulin G(IgG)，immunoglobulin M(IgM) and immune cell subsets，including CD3+，CD4+，CD8+ and NK were compared between the two groups，and the level of CD4+/CD8+ was calculated. Results：The total effective rate was 62.22% in the observation group，higher than that of 35.56% in the control group (P＜0.05). After treatment， the levels of IgA， IgG and IgM in the two groups were decreased when compared with those in the same group before treatment(P＜0.05)； after treatment， the above three levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05). Compared with the same group before treatment，the level of NK in the control group was decreased(P＜0.05)，the levels of CD3+，CD4+，CD4+/CD8+ and NK and score of each index of quality of life in the observation group were increased(P＜0.05)， and the level of CD8 + in the observation group was decreased(P＜0.05)； after treatment，the levels of CD3+，CD4+，CD4+/CD8+ and NK and score of each index of quality of life in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P＜0.05)， and the level of CD8 + in the observation group was lower(P＜0.05). Conclusion： The therapy of Fuzheng Quyu tang combined with chemotherapy has a good clinical effect on patients with advanced gastric cancer，which can improve the quality of life， and its mechanism may be related to improving the immune function and enhancing the disease resistance.
