Abstract： Objective： To observe the clinical effect of Xiaoke Kangshen prescription for diabetic nephropathy of dual deficiency of qi and yin complicated with internal obstruction of static blood type. Methods： A total of 106 cases of patients with diabetic nephropathy of dual deficiency of qi and yin complicated with internal obstruction of static blood type were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method，with 53 cases in each group. The control group was treated with routine western medicine，and the observation group was additionally treated with Xiaoke Kangshen prescription based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for three months. Chinese medicine symptom scores， blood glucose indexes and kidney function indexes before and after treatment in the two groups were compared； the clinical effects and the incidence of adverse reactions in the two groups were evaluated. Results：The total effective rate was 94.12% in the observation group，higher than that of 76.47% in the control group(P＜0.05)，and the clinical effect in the observation group was better than that in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment，the scores of primary symptoms，secondary symptoms and Chinese medicine symptoms of tongue and pulse as well as the total scores in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)，and the decrease in the observation group was more significant than that in the control group(P＜0.05)；the levels of fasting blood glucose(FBG)，two-hour postprandial blood glucose(P2hBG) and glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c) in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)，and the blood glucose indexes in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05). The levels of 24-hour urinary protein quantification，urea nitrogen and serum creatinine in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)，and the glomerular filtration rates were increased(P＜0.05)；the improvement of the above indexes in the observation group was better than that in the control group(P＜0.05). There was no significant difference being found in the comparison of the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05). Conclusion：Xiaoke Kangshen prescription for diabetic nephropathy of dual deficiency of qi and yin complicated with internal obstruction of static blood type can reduce blood glucose levels，improve kidney function and enhance clinical effect with high safety.
