Abstract： Objective： To observe the clinical effect of Kushen Zhiyang tang combined with western medicine for eczema of anus and its effect on scores of pruritus and quality of life. Methods： A total of 102 cases of patients with eczema of anus were selected as the study subjects and randomly divided into the observation group and the control group，with 51 cases in each group. The control group was treated with routine western medicine， and the observation group was additionally treated with Kushen Zhiyang tang based on the treatment of the control group. The degrees and symptom scores of pruritus and the quality of life before and after treatment， and the clinical effects in the two groups were compared. Results：The total effective rate was 94.12% in the observation group，higher than that of 74.51% in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment， the scores of Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)， symptoms and Dermatology Life Quality Index(DLQI) in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05). After treatment， the scores of VAS， symptoms and DLQI in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05). Conclusion： Kushen Zhiyang tang combined with western medicine for eczema of anus can gain better clinical effect，and improve the pruritus and quality of life.
