Abstract:Objective:To observe the curative effect of modified Zhigancao tang for coronary heart disease complicated with arrhythmia and its effect on interleukin- 6(IL- 6),interleukin- 8(IL- 8) and hypersensitive C- reactive protein(hs- CRP) in serum. Methods: A total of 100 cases of patients with coronary heart disease complicated with arrhythmia were divided into the control group and the study group according to the random number table method, with 50 cases in each group. The control group was treated with metoprolol, and the study group was additionally treated with modified Zhigancao tang based on the treatment of the control group. The clinical effects and adverse reactions in the two groups were compared;Chinese medicine syndrome scores and the levels of IL-6,IL-8 and hs-CRP before and after treatment in the two groups were compared. Results: The total effective rate was 96.00% in the study group,higher than that of 86.00% in the control group(P<0.05). After treatment,the scores of Chinese medicine syndromes including chest pain,chest oppression,palpitations,dry mouth,upset,insomnia, shortness of breath and lack of strength in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05); the scores of Chinese medicine syndromes including chest pain, chest oppression, palpitations, dry mouth, upset, insomnia, shortness of breath and lack of strength in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). After treatment,the levels of IL-6,IL-8 and hs-CRP in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05);the levels of IL-6,IL-8,hs-CRP and other inflammatory factors in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). There was no significant difference being found in the comparison of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05). Conclusion: Modified Zhigancao tang for coronary heart disease complicated with arrhythmia has a high clinical effect and high safety, which can effectively improve Chinese medicine symptoms of patients and reduce the levels of inflammatory factors.
