Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of the therapy of Qili Qiangxin capsules combined with routine western medicine on chronic heart failure. Methods:A total of 100 patients with chronic heart failure were divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table method,with 50 cases in each group. The control group was treated with routine western medicine,and the observation group was additionally treated with Qili Qiangxin capsules based on the treatment of the control group. The clinical effects, Chinese medicine syndrome scores and indexes of the heart function were compared between the two groups. Results:The total effective rate was 95.00% in the observation group and 80.00% in the control group,there being no significance in the difference(χ 2=4.114,P>0.05). After treatment, the Chinese medicine syndrome scores in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment, and the Chinese medicine syndrome score in the observation group were lower than that in the control group,the difference being significant(P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of serum N- terminal pro- brain natriuretic peptide(NT- pro BNP), left ventricular end- diastolic diameter(LVEDD) and left ventricular end- systolic diameter(LVESD) in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment, and the above three levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05); the cardiac index(CI), left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF),cardiac output(CO) and the ratio of peak blood flow velocity of early mitral ventricular filling(Peak E) to peak blood flow velocity of late ventricular filling and atrial contraction(Peak A)(E/A) in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment,and the above four levels in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion: The therapy of Qili Qiangxin capsules combined with routine western medicine for chronic heart failure can significantly improve the heart function, inhibit the left ventricular remodeling to a certain extent, and effectively reduce the clinical symptoms.
